Eugene Kaspersky graduated from the Institute of Cryptography, Telecommunications and Computer Science. He began studying computer viruses in 1989 after the Cascade virus was detected on his computer. From 1991 to 1997 Eugene worked at the KAMI Information Technologies Center where he developed the AVP antivirus project with a group of associates (AVP was renamed Kaspersky Anti-Virus in November 2000). Eugene Kaspersky co-founded Kaspersky Lab in 1997, and in 2007 Eugene was named CEO of Kaspersky Lab.
Today, Eugene Kaspersky is one of the world's leading antivirus experts, with over 15 years of experience in the field of information security. He regularly speaks at seminars and conferences all over the world, and is the author of a number of articles and reviews covering topics related to computer virology. |

Eugene Buyakin studied economics at Moscow State University. After graduating he worked for MKT Bank. At MKT Bank, he started as a marketing manager, and when he left the bank in 1996 he was deputy chairman of the board. He also worked as Finance Director for the Rossiskii Kredit group. Eugene joined Kaspersky Lab in 1999 as Finance Director and at the end of 2007 was named Chief Operating Officer. |

Nikolay Grebennikov
Vice-President, Research and Development
Nikolay Grebennikov was born in Tyumen, Russia in 1978. In 2001, Nikolay graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in February 2004 from the Bauman University for his dissertation on information security. Before joining Kaspersky Lab in 2003 he worked as a device driver developer, database programmer, general software programmer and project manager for several IT companies based in Moscow.
Grebennikov joined Kaspersky Lab as a system analyst for the Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstation 5.0 project team, but within 6 months was heading the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 team. In June 2005 he was assigned to the position of Deputy Director, Innovative Technologies, with the main task of heading all new research including proactive defense, heuristic detection, defense against information leaks, keyloggers, and rootkits. Since January 2008 he has been working in the position of Vice-President, Research and Development.

Andrei Tikhonov
Vice-President, Software Engineering
Andrei Tikhonov graduated with distinction from a military academy in Kiev, and served in the Russian Army for five years, leaving the service with the rank of lieutenant-colonel.
He has been associated with developing information security software since 1994 when he started working with Eugene Kaspersky as a developer of Novell NetWare products. In 2001 he became head of the Kaspersky Lab Novell department. Tikhonov is currently responsible for supervising the work of Kaspersky Lab's technical department, including the development and testing of new products.

Daniil Kaptsan joined Kaspersky Lab in 2000. His first achievement was establishing a production and logistics network for the opening of the Kaspersky Lab international retail channel. From that point, he spearheaded the business development of this channel, and in 2003 was appointed to the position of Retail Sales Director. From 2003 to 2004, Daniil was also involved in the business development of the Mediterranean region, and in November 2004 was promoted to the position of Marketing Director. Daniil holds degrees in electronic engineering and marketing. |

Daniil Borschev was born in 1975 in Barnaul, Russia. In 1997 he graduated from Moscow State University’s Faculty of Economics. From 1997 to 2000 he worked for several companies in the areas of auditing, investing and banking. From December 2000 Daniil was the Head of the Financial Department of Kaspersky Lab for Russia, the CIS countries and the Baltic states. In March 2004 he became the Deputy Financial Director of the company and in January 2008 was appointed to Financial Director of Kaspersky Lab.

Tatyana Solovyeva
Vice-President, Human Resources
Tatyana Solovyeva graduated from the Russian University of Chemical Technology with a degree in Biotechnology. She started her career in 1996 working for the TRIZA Exclusive recruiting agency. During 1997-2003 she worked in the HR departments at PepsiCo Holdings and ING Bank. From 2004 until joining Kaspersky Lab, Tatyana Solovjeva was the Deputy Director of HR at UniCredit Bank. In 2005, she received an MBA in Strategic Management from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. Tatyana Solovyeva was appointed HR Director at Kaspersky Lab in January 2008. |

Stephane Le Hir
Vice-President, Consumer Business
In the spring of 2008, Stephane Le Hir was appointed Vice-President, Consumer Business at Kaspersky Lab. From 2002 he worked as Managing Director for Kaspersky Lab France (under his guidance the company established itself as a leader on the French retail market). Stephane Le Hir is very experienced in business development: in 1997-2002 he was the Director of the French department of Trend Micro, a company which had been almost unknown on the French market before he joined it. Stephane Le Hir has a degree in Information Technologies. |

Petr Merkulov
Vice-President, Technology Business
In 2001, Petr Merkulov graduated from the Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs with a degree in Public Relations. He started his career at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Later he turned to the business sphere and in 2002-2004 he worked for several companies in the area of PR. In 2004, Petr joined Kaspersky Lab in the position of the Technology Sales Manager. In the spring of 2008, he was appointed Vice-President, Technology Business. |
